Fee changes due to COVID-19
From 1 March 2022 to 28 February 2023, some of our fees for alcohol, food and outdoor areas licenses are changing.
This is part of the Council’s Pandemic Response Plan.
You need a food registration certificate to sell food in Wellington City.
Your food business must be verified within 6 weeks of getting a food registration certificate, and regularly after that.
Food registration certificates need to be renewed before your current registration expires.
