Central city street parking

There are about 3300 on-street parking spaces in the central city. Hourly fees apply 7 days a week.

Parking changes from 5 July 2021

There are some changes to our parking in the city centre that will come into effect from 5 July 2021.

Resident parking

Resident parking areas allow people who live in busy streets to park near their homes.

Coupon parking

Coupon parking zones allow you to park for longer than 2 hours near the central city.

Council-owned car park buildings and areas
