History

The hall and library room were opened in 1924, and have been used for a range of community events ever since. In the early days, this included silent movie evenings organised by the local Progressive Association.

The hall was renovated in 1989 and continues to be a venue for the community. It contains a stage and kitchen and has capacity for 300 people.
