This facility has a 25-metre heated indoor pool, learners' pool, toddlers' pool and spa.
Limited lane availability at peak times
Due to the extended main pool closure at Keith Spry Pool we will be accommodating extra swimming lessons and activities at Tawa Pool over the next few months.
There will still be times for everyone to swim, but during our peak times it will be busier than you’re used to. Please make sure to check our lane timetable before visiting the pool to make sure there is a spot for you to swim.
Pool closed 6.15pm–7.30pm on Mondays and Thursdays during term-time.
Public holidays: 10am–6pm (closed Christmas Day)

You must be 5 years or older to use the spa pool.
Swim memberships are an economical option if you swim at our pools 3 or more times a week. They're available for all Council pools.
We offer a range of exercise aquafitness and hydrotherapy classes.
You can book out swimming lanes or the full pool for an event or activity.
Non-commercial fees: $8.20 per hour for a lane
Commercial fees: $16.40 per hour for a lane

You can store your things in a cubby hole near the main pool. These are not lockable.
You can also keep small items safe at reception – just ask for a free valuables tray. We'll give you a tag which you can hand back when you want to collect your items.
You are allowed to bring snacks for children into the centre, but no commercial food.
We have an outside barbecue area with seating. You can hire a barbecue for $27 per hour.
We sell swimwear and swimming accessories for all ages.
You are welcome to breastfeed anywhere public at our pools.
4 x family changing rooms with shower and toilet
Children under 3 years old must wear a waterproof nappy or Little Swimmer swimming pants in the pool. You can buy Huggies Little Swimmers and Zoggs reusable nappies for infants at our swim shop.
2 x mobility spaces in the car park
Tawa Pool is accessible only for spectators, as there are steps to enter the pool.
1 x accessible changing rooms with accessible shower and toilet
There is a car park in front of the building. If this is full, there is free parking on the street.
To keep everyone safe and healthy at the pools, we have rules about hygiene, illness, and how children are supervised.
