Activities

Chase Tag

Kilbirnie Recreation Centre has now become officially licensed by World Chase Tag and are excited to be offering competitive leagues and casual drop-in sessions.

Chase Tag is a combination of parkour and tag! Players begin the round at opposite sides of a square known as "The Quad", which is filled with various obstacles that players move over, under and through using parkour skills. The chaser has 20 seconds to tag the evader with their hand. If either player steps outside of The Quad they forfeit the round.

Each league has specially designed quads and move sets in mind, a smaller 8x8 quad for the juniors, and a 10x10 quad for the adults.

Teams require 4-6 players and are mixed gender. The junior league is for players ages 9 to 14. The adult league is for players 15 years and over. Players under 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian.

Spectators are welcome (free entry).

The Adult League is postponed until Term 4. Adults can still join us for a casual drop-in session after any of the below Junior League sessions.
