Description of proposal
The proposal is to stop a 220m² portion of unformed legal load in Newlands Road, Newlands. Council has determined that it no longer requires this land for road purposes and has no other purpose for the land.
The land (Section 1 SO495732) adjoins 78 Newlands Road, Newlands (Lot 15 DP 14870). Once the 220m² of legal road land is stopped it will be sold to the owner of 78 Newlands Road, Newlands, and amalgamated with the title to their land.
Any future buildings or activities on the land will be governed by the Wellington City Council District Plan once stopped.
