The proposed concept plan includes:
- senior module with a wave slide and climbing walls x2
- monkey bar radial
- twister net
- seesaw
- balance beam
- junior module with curbed slide
- fun disk for spinning
- swings with a toddler seat and belt seat
- basket swing
- retaining the existing Kompan climbing unit
- synthetic surfaces and paths to connect to much of the equipment, to enhance accessibility.
The Helston Road play area is considered a neighbourhood play area, which provides a handy place for a quick play and play opportunities targeting at least one age group.
This type of play are is for the local neighbourhood within a 600-metre walking distance.
