Trelissick Park is a beautiful area of hills, stream and native bush below Ngaio Gorge Road.
Waihinahina Park has excellent views over Hutt Valley, Petone and Wellington Harbour.
Waitangi Park is a six-hectare urban park in the centre of Wellington, covering 30 percent of the waterfront.
Once a waka landing beach, this park now features pou whenua by Te Atiawa sculptor Ra Vincent.
Wilf Mexted Scenic Reserve has a number of walks ranging from 10 to 30 minutes.
Willowbank Reserve is a large open park beside Porirua Stream.
Woodburn Reserve covers about five hectares of bush-covered slopes in Woodburn, and is an important ecological area.
