Slower speeds in Newtown

We need safer speeds in Newtown, there is increasing amounts of traffic through Newtown, and we're the most densely populated suburb, with more building underway. We need our streets to be safer to cycle, walk and lowering the speed limits to 30 kph throughout Newtown to Berhampore would make it better for everyone to get around. And lower our carbon emissions. Whilst most other suburbs and the CBD have 30kph limits Newtown has been left behind.
