Born in Wellington and raised with my nine siblings at 25 Jessie Street in Te Aro where it was very convenient for walking to both primary and secondary schools.
I now live in Broadmeadows nestled against the Town Belt with Lorraine, Lillee, Hollee and Wolfgang Amadeus Meowzart where we enjoy the native birds and wildlife daily.
I joined Telecom building and maintaining Telephone Exchanges then migrated to Head Office Marketing Data Systems as Product Manager. I continued my marketing career with Unisys as Marketing Manager and completed a Bachelor of Business Studies at Massey University. From there, I started my career in international business with Ericsson Communications and completed a Diploma in International Business continuing to work in 46 countries with American, German and British conglomerates in technological industries on large infrastructure projects globally.
Together with three others, I established the Onslow Residents Community Association six years ago and enjoyed representing community concerns and issues that led me to running for council.
