Johnsonville Community Centre

The Johnsonville Community is a safe and friendly meeting place where the community can work together to meet social, cultural and educational needs.

The centre includes a creche, a craft shop, a Citizens' Advice Bureau, a toy library, and a Justice of the Peace service. It hosts events, activities and classes for all ages, including Zumba, drama, drawing, martial arts and different fibre and craft groups.

The Johnsonville Community Centre was established in 1974, moving to the new purpose-built building in 1995. The design of the centre is intended to reflect the surrounding hills and unique Johnsonville environment.

Parking is available at the front of the centre on Frankmoore Avenue.


The facility is wheelchair accessible, with lifts to the two upper floors.


There is a large hall and six meeting rooms for hire.

There are also three kitchens at the centre with a range of different kitchen appliances. All kitchens have boiling water, teapots, coffee mugs and tea towels.
