Along with other Councils in the Wellington region, we're proud to be part of the national Love Food Hate Waste NZ campaign, which aims to turn this problem around.

Love Food Hate Waste informs, inspires and enables Wellingtonians to waste less food.

The campaign is targeting household food waste. The Wellington region has a wide range of food champions, community groups and organisations working on different aspects of the food waste problem, from restaurants to supermarkets to growers.

Our strategy for Wellington is to work with a wide range of these groups and organisations to help deliver the Love Food Hate Waste message.
