Small boat access.

Tarakena Bay

• Ramp maintained by Wellington International Airport.
• Limited car parking.

Island Bay

• By bait shed.
• Sand access and limited parking.

Owhiro Bay

• Opposite Severn Street.
• Provides access to the south coast.
• Affected by wind and swell.

Makara Beach

• North end of beach into river.
• Small boat access.
