Wellington City's population is forecast to grow by more than 50,000 over the next 30 years. This is going to place extra pressure on the transport network.
A safe and comprehensive cycle network will:
- reduce emissions from road transport
- make it easier for everyone to get around in low or zero carbon ways
- open our streets for people of all ages and abilities
- connect places where people want to go.
