Enjoy Christmas music and performances, everything from choirs to hip-hop dance, ukulele, and more. Chill out and absorb the sounds and sights of Christmas any time between 11am and 5pm. Kids, have your face painted, and post your letter to Santa in Santa’s Letterbox.

Enjoy a Christmas circus extravaganza and street busking under the sails at Queens Wharf. There will be lots of laughs, face painting, and a touch of fire. Post your letter to Santa in Santa’s Letterbox.

Ki hea | Where Waitangi Park (View on Google Maps) | Santa’s arrival, activities and carols

Be at Waitangi Park for Santa’s arrival, to meet Santa, and for a fun range of Christmas activities. Santa will arrive in his special sleigh. He will start at 11am along Great Harbour Way/Te Aranui o Pōneke near the Clyde Quay Wharf marina, and will travel a short distance down Herd St, then turn right into Waitangi Park, and move along the length of the wide pathway that runs along the Waitangi Park side of the Herd St Apartment building, before dismounting to meet the crowd.

Meet Santa in his grotto between 11.30am and 5pm. Enjoy Christmas activities between 11am and 5pm, including ice skating, the snowball globe, foam pit, live music and entertainment, face painting, and caricatures. A variety of food trucks will also be on site.

Stay at Waitangi Park after our Santa event for a Christmas carols sing-along from 5pm-7pm.
