Petition details
There has been an increase in the amount of dog feces along the Northern Walkway and I believe this is due to dogs being off-leash and owners not knowing when their dogs defecate. If dogs remained on-leash for the time that they are on Te Ahumairangi than owners can pick up after them.
Background information
I counted 15 piles of excrement from the gate at the Wadestown Rd (at Orchard St) entrance to approximately 500m up the track. This is more than last year but becoming the new "normal" over the passed few months.
