Petition details
I am petitioning the Wellington City Council to split the Golden Mile's sidewalks visually in half through the use of appropriate signage and/or spraypaint. The left hand side 'slow' lane would be designed for use by people not in a hurry, such as tourists and shoppers. The right hand side 'fast' lane would be for those predominantly using the Golden Mile as a means of getting to a particular destination.
Background information
I am a 'fast' lane walker who believes the current layout is inefficient, mildly to moderately frustrating, and at times causes delays due to congestion.
