Background information
The WCC website supports water meters: “WCC believes meters are an important tool for conservation efforts.”
Wealthier residents who have water meters and reduce what they pay for water are
effectively ensuring that the water rates will increase for poorer residents, who can't afford water efficient appliances.
Promote equity, not poverty.
