Background information
Council is currently reviewing how it manages motorcycle parking within the Central Area, in accordance with its Parking Policy.
This petition requests, when considering options around how parking is managed in the future, that the possibility of charging for on-road motorcycle parking is excluded from the various options being considered.
This position calls on WCC to keep current motorcycle parking spaces in the Central City free for motorcyclists to use.
