Petition to the Wellington City Council regarding the 1 Mt Albert Rd – Dual Slalom Mountain Bike Track. The signatures below are in support of keeping this facility a permanent fixture.
Currently the track is temporary and is due to be bulldozed after the New Zealand Mountain Bike National Championships on 22 February 2008. So far the Council has donated $5000 towards the building of the track.

Background information
The NZ 2008 MTB Championships could only be held in Wellington with the inclusion of a Dual Slalom (also used as a Four Cross) mountain bike track. One has been built by many volunteers from the mountain bike community and it is hoped that the Council will grant permission for the track to remain permanently on Council land, as this track is a fantastic and valuable addition to the MTB community.
