WCC's non-notifiable resource consent process and the WELLYWOOD sign

Background information

WCC needs to review its non-notifiable resource consent process in the District Plan and the rules that apply to signs, to prevent another WELLYWOOD fiasco. The non-notified resource consent for the WELLYWOOD sign was signed off by an unknown and unelected council officer. Wellington's elected members need to take control of a process that is, apparently, solely in the hands of unelected officials.
