Johnsonville Community Centre

A friendly meeting place where the community can work together to meet social, cultural and educational needs.

The centre includes a Craft Shop (The SPOT), Op shop, Citizens’ Advice Bureau, a Justice of the Peace service and has an Early Childhood Centre (Early Impressions). The centre hosts many events, activities and classes for all ages, including Zumba, Social Drama for Seniors, Steady as you Go (SAYGO), Table Tennis and craft groups.

The Johnsonville Community Centre was established in 1974, moving to the new purpose-built building in 1995. The design of the centre is intended to reflect the surrounding hills and unique Johnsonville environment.

Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 4.00pm
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: Closed

Parking

Parking is available at the front of the centre on Frankmoore Avenue.

Accessibility

The facility is wheelchair accessible, with lifts to the two upper floors.

Facilities

There is a large hall and nine meeting rooms for hire.

There are also three kitchens at the centre with a range of different kitchen appliances. All kitchens have boiling water, teapots, coffee mugs and tea towels.
