Every year the Council produces a report of its licensing activities for the previous year.

Every year the Council produces a report of the activities of its District Licensing Committee (DLC) for the previous year. The DLC also provides a list of all licensed premises in Wellington.

Annual reports

The report contains a summary of work undertaken by the DLC for the year, membership of the committee, new initiatives, the committee’s thoughts on the legislation it works under and statistics. The DLC also provides a list of all licensed premises in Wellington.

Since 2013/14, the reports have been prepared by the DLC, which came into existence in December 2013. Prior to that, they were prepared by the District Licensing Agency (DLA). In 2018, the DLC’s report was streamlined to meet the needs of the agency it reports to, the Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority, so the 2017/18 report looks different to past reports.
