4. Left Bank
This eclectic laneway off Cuba Street is well loved by Wellingtonians and is home to some long-standing restaurants like Oriental Kingdom.
The next time you’re strolling around the Cuba Precinct, pop into Zelati for tasty gelato, pack in some porridge at The Oatery, or stop for delicious Ethiopian food at Mother of Coffee.
5. Tinakori Laneway
This cute cobblestone laneway off Tinakori Road takes you to local gem, Goods cafe! This popular bakery churns out delicious freshly baked pastries and bread, and is the perfect place to pick up a coffee and treat before a walk through the Botanic Gardens ki Paekākā.
In the evening, head to this laneway to check out the Sprig & Fern, one of Wellington’s craft beer breweries.
