Come on down to Shed 6 in your supporter's gear as we watch the live stream of the Football Ferns take on Norway in the opening match of the FIFA Women's World Cup™.
The opening ceremony starts at 6.30pm on 20 July, followed by kick-off at 7pm. Don't miss this unforgettable moment!
FIFA Fan Festival™

Wellington's first FIFA Women's World Cup™ match
The stage is set! Wellington Regional Stadium is ready to welcome Spain vs Costa Rica on Friday 21 July, at 7.30pm.

Illuminated Kids Rave

Bring the kids down and join in on the free whānau fun at the Illuminated Kids Rave from 12pm this Saturday.
The FIFA Fan Festival™ at Shed 6 will come alive with glow in the dark face painting, make your own illuminated dance accessories and the best kids DJ in town!>
Ticketing
There are no onsite ticket sales on match days at Wellington Regional Stadium, so people will need to buy tickets online ahead of time. Tickets are accessed using the FIFA Ticketing App.
Transport and travel
Match ticket holders can travel free on all Metlink bus and train services on Stadium match days. Simply show your match day ticket to the staff for free travel that day.

The Stadium’s regular car park will be closed from Thursday 20 July until Sunday 13 August. This includes the commuter car park and all match days. This means there is no parking available at the Stadium for match ticket holders, except for limited accessible parking for those with a valid mobility pass and a match ticket, which is free of charge.
However, these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis from two hours prior to kick-off at each game. For parking information see Council parking or visit Wilson Parking or Carepark.
There are no drop-offs or pick-ups at the Stadium on match days. All drop-offs and pick-ups are at Bunny St, Stout St, Featherston St or Thorndon Quay.
Road closures will be in place around the Stadium, and possibly in other parts of the city on match days, so plan ahead. Council’s street event road closures section will have updated information throughout the tournament.
Accessibility information
People with mobility requirements can be dropped off at the drop-off lane in the ground level of the Stadium car park, from two hours before kick-off. There is a waiting area there, serviced by a dedicated and accessible shuttle service which will collect you and drop you up to the stadium turnstiles.
People movers will also be running from the top of the Thorndon Spiral access, assisting patrons with mobility needs to get to the entry gates. Volunteers will be on hand to assist those with accessibility needs.
General match day information
Gates open for each match two hours before kick-off. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to ensure you get in on time and soak up the atmosphere.
Food, drinks and merchandise will be available - with outlets accepting credit cards and EFTPOS. The Wellington Regional Stadium is a completely cashless venue.
