1. Get vaccinated!

What could be more fun than helping protect yourself, your whānau, and your community. You don't need a booking, just walk in to one of these clinics in your suburb. There are also a bunch of Super Saturday events taking place across our city this weekend, here's the list of events across the region.

2. Get vaccinated, then explore one of Wellington's trails.

The capital has extensive tracks and trails which cover a wide range of landscapes and take in scenic views of the city and coast. For a full list of all our walks and walkways, check out our webpage.

3. Get vaccinated, then have a blooming good time at our gardens.

Brighten up your weekend by visiting some of the best flower spotting destinations in Pōneke. From Botanic Garden ki Paekākā to Bolton Cemetery and beyond, check out our top five blooming great spots to see the spring blossoms.

4. Get vaccinated, then visit the Harbourside Market.

Wellington's famous market will reopen this Sunday 17 October with COVID-19 Alert Level 2 restrictions in place. The main entrances and site will be staffed to maintain regulations, the market will be using the whole of Barnett St car park for produce trucks only, and both the Waitangi Stream Promenade and Te Papa Promenade for generously spaced food vendors. More info is on our website.

5. Get vaccinated, then grab some brunch by the beach.

We have an amazing hospitality sector in our city, and those businesses would love to see you stop by. Here's a great list of places to have brunch by the beach produced by our friends at WellingtonNZ.

Watch out each Friday for a fun list of five great activities to do, places to explore, or things to discover in our awesome city (depending on our Alert Level!)
