Thorndon Pool will continue to stay open with reduced hours for the duration of the extended Keith Spry main pool closure, with impacted SwimWell lessons being accommodated at Tawa Pool from term two on a modified timetable.
April hours at Thorndon Pool are 11am-7pm Monday to Sunday, and from May to August 10am-6pm Monday to Sunday.
Although the Keith Spry Pool upgrade is taking longer than anticipated specifically with the affected supply chain of the structural steel needed for the ceiling work, it is a significant project and an exciting investment in the northern suburbs – alongside the recently opened Waiora Sports Hub and the current upgrade happening at Pukehuia Park in Newlands.
