This service is offered alongside all the eBooks and audiobooks that are available through our OverDrive and Libby service.

To read magazines conveniently offline, download the Libby app and get started on your mobile device.

The collections team has also started to put together some hand-picked collections, including for kids, magazines from Aotearoa,  a business room, and LGBTIQ+ reads.

Over the next few months we’ll be updating these magazine lists so that it’s even easier to spot what’s new in our fabulous collection.

The new easier online magazine service is a merger of two of the platforms we used, with the added bonus of reading rooms for particular interests, created by our librarians.

It’s basically a simpler and more engaging way to search for magazine titles with added extras:

- Magazines can be checked out for three weeks and then will automatically return off of your card
- You will be prompted three days before its due to renew if you’d like to
- Or you can take it out again after it’s returned as you’re able to borrow issues multiple times.
