The first kick-off sees Wellington Phoenix FC return to the field for the first time since a 3-0 win over the Melbourne Victory on March 15.

They take on Sydney FC in Sydney at 9.30pm [NZT] on Friday 17 July.

The Phoenix are currently third on the A-League ladder with 36 points, with the Sydney side well out in front of the pack with 48 points.

Next up are the Central Pulse, who have a crucial double-header this weekend.

They take on the Northern Mystics at 5pm on Saturday 18 July, before backing that up with a clash against the Mainland Tactix at 5pm on Sunday 19 July.

Both ANZ Premiership matches are at the Auckland Netball Centre.

The Pulse have won all six of their matches so far, and are already seven points clear of the chasing pack.

The Hurricanes are the third Wellington side up this weekend, featuring in a mouth-watering clash with the Blues at Sky Stadium.

That game kicks off at 7.05pm on Saturday 18 July.

The Blues are currently second on the Super Rugby Aotearoa table with 12 points, with the Canes in third on eight points.

The last time the two sides met was at Eden Park on 14 June, with the Auckland side coming out 30-20 winners on the day.

After two Hurricanes wins in a row, Sky Stadium should be pumping on Saturday night.

Tickets are available here, and if you’re going to the game, why not make a night of it and take in some famous Wellington hospitality as well.
