It's free to park your motorcycle in a motorcycle parking space. Some have time restrictions – check the signs for more information.

Some Council-owned central city car park areas have motorcycle parking areas.

Where you can't park

You can't park:

• in any on-street Pay by Plate park, unless it has been set aside for motorcycles (see Traffic and Parking Bylaw 2021 Part 38.1(o))
• on footpaths
• at the ends of parallel parks
• by pedestrian crossings.

Illegally parked motorcycles will be ticketed.
