This means supporting the neighbourhoods, non-profit groups and community organisations that are vital to the social, cultural and economic well-being of the capital.

These resources aim to help foster the exchange of knowledge, ideas and connections and support participation in our city's communities.

Wellington has over 30 community gardens on Council and privately-owned land.

These gardens are run by the community, for the community. If you are interested in either joining or starting a garden project, the Council can provide funding and information.
