Meeting at a community centre to plan a local project
Wellington's people are the city's greatest asset. We want to build on our strengths and support Wellington to be sustainable and resilient into the future.
This means supporting the neighbourhoods, non-profit groups and community organisations that are vital to the social, cultural and economic well-being of the capital.
These resources aim to help foster the exchange of knowledge, ideas and connections and support participation in our city's communities.
Funding
The Council is a major funder of community organisations and projects.
