The Domestic Animal Policy 2024 supports the responsible care of animals and promotes animal welfare, works to minimise incidents of harm and nuisance relating to domestic animals, and aids in the implementation of the Animal Bylaw.
The Policy and factsheets provide advice on caring for animals, information on responsibilities, and requirements under legislation and the Bylaw.
The Policy does not add any new regulatory requirements.
