Candidate statement
Raised in Tawa and rooted in our community, my family and I contributed to our town's vibrant culture through history in running local businesses and our continued investments in the community. I strive to enhance our environment through projects like the recent mural developed in collaboration with Wellington City Council and the Tawa Business Group.
My senior leadership background in both the private and public sector will be an asset to provide thoughtful contribution to the Board’s purpose.
As a Board Member, I would be committed to focusing on our local infrastructure, maintaining the character of Tawa, and supporting local businesses. I envision fostering an environment where community members feel heard, safety is prioritised, and sustainable practices are encouraged. My aim is to ensure that Tawa's growth and development reflect the values and needs of its residents.
