Diane Calvert was first elected as a Wharangi/Onslow-Western councillor in 2016 following a successful career working in government and private enterprises in operational management and strategic leadership roles.

Diane is a keen gardener and, along with her husband Jeff, lives in Khandallah. They have four adult daughters and two grandchildren who all still live in the wider Wellington area.
