Autumn Our Wellington magazine out now

As well as being delivered to letterboxes, the Wellington City Council quarterly magazine will also be available at selected Council venues and facilities across the city. 

Wellington is undergoing a once-in-a-generation transformation, with major infrastructure upgrades needed to make our city a better place to live, work, and play.

Covering the period from 1 April to 15 June 2023, this issue focuses on Wellington being a city in transition, as we work towards a more vibrant, resilient future.

It features updates on some of our major projects, including Te Matapihi Central Library and the Town Hall Redevelopment, as well as Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, which opens in June with its debut exhibition, Jurassic World by Brickman.

Inside Tō Tātou Pōneke, we have a handy guide of recycling dos and don’ts, along with suggestions for low-cost family-friendly activities.

We also share stories about a group of wāhine embracing Wellington waters and supporting our local rainbow communities by making visible challenges and triumphs for these communities, in ways that work for them.
