Nau mai, haere mai ki te Huinga Māori

E ngākau titikaha ana Te Kaunihera o Pōneke ki te whakatūturu i te wāhi ki te iwi Māori kia arataki, kia whai wāhi atu hoki ki te hātepe whakataunga o Pōneke.

Wellington City Council is dedicated to ensuring Māori lead and participate in the decision-making of the city.

Hei te marama nei, ka whakatū mātou i ētahi wānanga kia rongo ai mātou i tō tirohanga hei Māori, me hanga pēhea te anamata o Pōneke. 

He wāhanga whakahirahira ō whakaaro me ō wawata ki te whakawhanaketanga mai o tā mātou Mahere ā-Rautaki Māori mō te 10-tau ki mua. 

Tēnā, nau mai ki te kaupapa nei, kia tipu rā te ora i ō tātou hapori.

Rāmere, 21 o Haratua | 10.00am – 12.30pm, he hui anō ā te 1.00pm – 3.30pm | ki Te Whare Tapere o ASB  

Rātū, 25 o Haratua | 5.30pm – 8.00pm | ki te marae o Takapūwāhia 

Rāhoroi, 29 o Haratua | 10.00am – 1.00pm | ki te marae o Waiwhetū

Tēnā, whakamōhio mai hoki mehemea he matea whaikaha āu, e pai ai tā mātou whakarite i te hui kia tae pai mai koe.  

Ko te uho o ēnei huihuinga ko te whānau tonu, nō reira mauria mai ngā tamariki! Ka whakahaerehia ētahi ngohe mā rātou, ā, ka hora hoki he kai mā te katoa.

The Council will be holding four wānanga (workshops) this month to hear what you as Māori think the future of Wellington should look like. 

Your views and aspirations for the future of the city are vital to shaping the pathway for our 10-year Māori Strategic Plan. 

Please come and be a part of this movement and champion change within our communities.
