Bargains at Libraries Book Sale

Book, music and film lovers will be able to fossick for bargains galore at the Wellington City Libraries’ Book Sale on 29-31 January.

Withdrawn books, magazines, CDs and DVDs will be on sale over the last three days of January. Most items will be on offer for 50c or $1 and new stock will be put out daily.

 

The sale will be in the Ngaio Town Hall, next to Cummings Park Library, at 1 Ottawa Road.

 

When:

10am – 6pm on Friday 29 January

10 am – 4pm on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January.

 

Getting there:  

  • The 22 (Johnsonville - Mairangi - Kelburn – Wellington) and 26 (Khandallah - Ngaio - Brandon Street) bus routes stop just outside or opposite Ngaio Town Hall
  • A three minute walk from Ngaio Station on the Johnsonville rail line Metlink - Route JVL Johnsonville Line (Johnsonville - Wellington)
  • Parking – there is a small amount of free parking available at the Cummings Park Library and Ngaio Town Hall. This includes two mobility car parks in front of the library. More shared off street parking is available in the surrounding streets.

 

Why is the Book Sale being held at Ngaio Town Hall?
The sale has been shifted from the Central Library which is temporarily closed.
