Wellington City Council’s Electoral Officer, Warwick Lampp, says the Tawa Community Board is an important link to Council.
“Community is the heart of Tawa, and the board is an important voice for its residents. Tawa has some big issues around housing, transport and its CBD upgrade over the next few years. If you are passionate about these subjects and your community, I encourage you to throw your hat in the ring.”

“Candidates are encouraged to submit a profile statement and recent photograph for sending out with voting documents to electors if an election is required,” says Lampp. “The requirements for profile statements and photos are set out in a candidate information sheet which is available with the nomination form.”
Completed nomination documents must be received by the Electoral Officer no later than 12 noon on Thursday 22 December 2016.
