Wellington Pasifika Festival

The Wellington Pasifika Festival attracts over 15,000 people each year and is a standout event in the Wellington regional and national calendar.

Following discussions with Pacific community leaders, we made the decision to postpone the Pasifika Festival 2021 due to COVID-19 uncertainty. Similarly, we were unable to run our event in January 2022.

However, we are pleased to announce that, coinciding with Rotuman and Samoa Language weeks, we are supporting Pacific performances and the ‘Kilbirnie Pasifika Pool Day’ this year. We look forward to bringing our Pacific communities together, to celebrate their stories, culture and knowledge.

Experience vibrant performances, and connect with friends and whānau at a day out with our tight-knit Pacific communities.
