We’re considering granting two new leases and one new licence on reserve and Town Belt land.
Proposed new leases and licence:
1. New lease to Capital BMX Club Incorporated located at Ian Galloway Park on Recreation
Reserve Land
- Leased area: approximately 8,000m² on land legally described as Section 1 SO 37014
WN42C/388
- Lease fee: $1.00 per annum
- Lease term: two years with one renewal term of three years
2. New licence to Wellington Beekeepers Association Incorporated located at Chartwell
Reserve, Crofton Downs on Scenic Reserve Land
- Leased area: approximately 100m² on land legally described as Part Lot VII
Kaiwharawhara District WN49B/972
- Lease fee: $1.00 per annum
- Lease term: five years with one renewal term of five years
3. New lease to Port Nicholson & Poneke Cycling Club Incorporated Hataitai Park, Ruahine
Street on Wellington Town Belt Land
- Leased area: approximately 71m² of the Wellington Town Belt, within Hataitai Park, and is
legally described as Lot 1 DP 8519 WN48B/341
- Lease fee: $103 + GST per annum
- Maintenance fee: $3,000 + GST per annum
- Lease term: ten years with one renewal term of ten years
