Proposal
Wellington City Council, pursuant to Section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, hereby notifies its intention to revoke the reservation of local purpose (utility) reserve over the land described in this notice, situated at 33 Cheyne Walk, Newlands.
Reserve to be revoked: An area of 503m2, being Lot 15 and 25 DP 30952, held on ROT WN7D/78 and situated at 33 Cheyne Walk, Newlands.

It is proposed to revoke the reserve status of this site due to the decommissioning and removal of a water reservoir previously situated on the site. With this removal, the utility reserve status no longer reflects the site’s use, and the land is surplus to Reserve Act requirements.
How to make a submission
Any person wishing to object to the proposed revocation of reserve land may do so by emailing their objection to jacob.reese-jones@wcc.govt.nz no later than 5pm on Friday 26 July 2024.
