Description of proposal

Tawa Association Football Club Incorporated, c/o 40 Kenepuru Drive, Tawa, Wellington 5028 has applied to the District Licensing Committee in Wellington for the Renewal and Variation of a Club licence for the premises situated at 69A Redwood Avenue, Tawa, Wellington.

The general nature of the business conducted (or to be conducted) under the licence is Sports club indoor/outdoor.

 

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is (or is intended to be) sold under the licence are:
1 March to 31 October, only on the following days and hours:

Monday to Friday 5.00pm to 10.00pm
Saturday and Public Holidays 12.00pm to 12.00 midnight
Sundays 12.00 midday to 7.00pm

The proposed hours are a variation of the current hours which are:
1 April to 30 September, only on the following days and hours:

Tuesday to Thursday 7:00pm to 10:00pm
Saturdays and Public Holidays 2:00pm to 12:00 midnight 
Sundays 12:00 midday to 6:00pm

There is also a proposed variation to remove an area previously identified as changing rooms from the licensed area.

Objections

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at PO Box 2199, Wellington 6140.

Object to an Application

Objecting to the issue of new licence: No objection to the issue of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 105(1) of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

Objecting to the renewal of an existing licence: No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
