What happened to this consultation?
We’re renewing Pembroke Road Play Area to make it an even better place to play. In February we put the draft concept out for community feedback.
From this feedback, we are keeping with all the main features of the original concept, with the biggest improvement being an all-weather safety surface on the large tower slide. We have also been able to add a short length seesaw and will be refurbishing the existing furniture.
Unfortunately, due the budget constraints for a neighbourhood play area, it was not possible to include some of the suggestions such as a basketball court, fitness equipment, a fountain or skate facility.
