The most significant change we are making relates to accommodating skating features to the bike/scooter track. This involves utilising some of the corners on the southern side to add two low walls for grinding, and a shallow transition half pipe .
These features will be largely targeting beginners, and so will fit in with the demographic we are expecting to use the playground. This change will allow for some provision for skate in the Miramar Peninsula.
We have also added a third picnic table, so that there will now be two side by side near the Art Club.
We were not able to accommodate adding shade sails within the budget, but we will be planting specimen trees that will provide this over time.
