Background
Councillors are reluctant to allow the sale of approved “legal highs” (approved products), however the Psychoactive Substances Act stops the Council from banning the sale of these products.
The Council is taking a proactive approach to controlling where approved products could be sold, including distances from schools and other sensitive sites.
