That WCC tenants who have been long term residents, for more than 10 years, be allowed to earn more than the maximum income level for new applicants
Background information
People's income may increase over the years as they move from benefits and into full time employment. However they may not want to be forced out of their housing because they exceed income levels.
The gap from the cost of WCC accommodation to private accommodation is a large one, and needs a very large jump in income to make viable. In addition for some types of accommodation e.g. studio type bed-sit flats, there is an inadequate supply of private sector equivalents.
