Background information
At present there are numerous complaints against cyclists from pedestrians walking from the cable car through to Salamanca Rd. I feel that cycling through here is a safer way to travel to work as I can avoid some of the traffic congestion around the university. A relatively inexpensive solution would be to add a cycle lane from the end of the cable car to the Salamanca Road. This could be done with some white paint and some slight widening of existing path.
