Our climate action plan is called Te Atakura - First to Zero. Our plan seeks to achieve three key goals:

  1. Reduce city's gross emissions by 57% by 2030, and become net zero by 2050.
  2. Reduce the Council emissions to become net zero by 2050.
  3. Support Wellington City to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
