Under section 18 (2) of the Wellington Town Belt Act 2016, we are required to notify the public of pending and approved trading and event operators who will carry out business activities on the Wellington Town Belt. The trading and event licences are issued under the Trading and Events in Public Places Policy.
Requests to use the Town Belt go to the Social, Cultural and Economic Committee for review. This committee meets every six weeks.
