Can you offer advice on Wellington's environment?

The Wellington City Council is currently seeking new members for its Environmental Reference Group. Do you have a passion for improving and enhancing Wellington’s natural environment?

Would you like to be involved in advising the Council directly on how it can effectively achieve its long-term plans for environmental matters?

The Environmental Reference Group advises the Council on the management of the city’s natural and built environments. To function well, it needs expertise on a wide range of issues including sustainable energy use, biodiversity, climate change, water, waste, urban design and transport. The group meets monthly and members are paid a small meeting allowance for attending.

To apply for a position in the group, please send a cover letter outlining all relevant knowledge and experience you can bring to the group. Please also include any instances where you have provided constructive advice as well as any community groups you network with. Contact details for two referees are also required. A formal CV is not required but can be included.
